GAP China

GAP is one of the largest apparel companies in the United States. When it was founded in 1969, there were only a handful of employees. Today, it is a multinational company with five brands (GAP, Banana Republic, Old Navy, Piperlime, Athleta), more than 3,200 chain stores, annual turnover of more than $13 billion, and employees of 165,000. <br> Gap In the first half of 2010, it announced that it will fully enter the Chinese market. The first four flagship stores of Gap were established in Shanghai and Beijing. Gap Shanghai opened two stores in November 2010, located in Zhongchuang Building on Nanjing West Road and Hong Kong Plaza on Huaihai Zhong Road, with an area of 1796 square meters and 1140 square meters respectively.
